Reindeer that is! Enex, a three level shopping complex in the city and home to a diverse variety of retail shops have unveiled their Christmas decorations and they suite their eclectic surroundings perfectly. I do like them, they are fun, quirky and definitely not overly schmaltzy.. there is no way these sassy deer are pulling a chubby chap around on a sleigh 😉 Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. Not many decorations up around the city as yet I'm pleased to say, it's a bit soon.. how about your city/town, are the decorations up already?
Decorations here go up after Remembrance Day. I'll be glad when the whole thing is over.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful decorations Grace, it gets people in the holiday festivities. Here, the city starts to decorate in early December and in some stores the Christmas decorations/supplies were already available in the summer when the temps were around 100F. These are for the crafters to start making their handmade articles for the Christmas fairs which will be starting soon.
ReplyDeleteA modern take on xmas decor and I like it. No decorations up in my small town just yet. Too soon I think. One holiday at a time.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's a little early. In my street they have already installed Christmas lights, but I don't think they are already lit up in the evening. But I still find it a little absurd. Anyway, these reindeer are beautiful
ReplyDelete...rushing it a bit?
ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas decorations so what can I say?
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous!
We first start with Sinterklaas! (Saint Nicolas celebrated on Dec. 5)
Very Fashionable Sound & So Festive
ReplyDeleteCheers
It is a tad early. I’m a last minute with the decorations. Many people here put up their decorations shortly after the middle of November. I would be sick of them after a week.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying not to think about Christmas just yet. Those are some very stylish deer though.
ReplyDeleteThose are elegant deer, Grace! Last Friday, the day after Halloween, the stores were putting out decorations and goodies. I even saw pine boughs and wreaths for sale which will be totally dried up & dead by Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice figures. So funny to see them as artwork in these shops.
Your pictures are very well done Grace!!
Greetings, Marco
I so adore enjoying it all at a lazy distance!
ReplyDeleteDecorations haven't gone up here yet but I am dreading when they do, the commercials have started on tv though.
ReplyDeleteSo festive looking with the fancy reindeer. We saw some lights being placed on top of a shopping centre today. Way to early if you asked me but no one did. :)
ReplyDeleteThese cute reindeer are just wonderful Grace! I haven't seen too many decorations up here, but I have noticed that the Christmas commercials have already started on television.
ReplyDeleteI like the deer. No decoration here that I have noticed, but now once Cup Day has passed, I expect there will be. Christmas decorations should be banned until the 1st of December.
ReplyDeleteFun and quicky is wonderful word. Looks like a wonderful place to just dream.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
"Schmaltzy", Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteThis really is a word?! "Schmalzig" we say (From Schmalz > lard).
And no, it´s a cute deer, too!
Off to the city after lunch, will have a look if Xmas hit somewhere.
I correct: Cute deers!
Looks great. Beautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteJá cheira a Natal, aproveito para desejar a continuação de uma boa semana.

Looks like a more modern approach and not a bad one. In the whole Christmas is coming earlier and earlier and why? As counterweight for the daily reality in the papers? I don't know but if you don't know then follow the money.
ReplyDeleteThose are very sophisticated deers! :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to avoid retail. You've inspired me to go on a mission to see if I can find deer. These are pretty unique!
ReplyDeleteJanis
Those are some very sleek looking reindeer. Yes, I'm starting to see the decorations going up all around. I was in Tempe Sunday evening and noticed they have all the lights up along the main street there. It was looking very festive.
ReplyDeleteIf those deer need a home after Christmas, I'd totally put them in my yard!!
ReplyDeleteI like it, not so much the usual style. Creative.
