This is how the coversation went on the way home yesterday. P 'wow look at the red Maserati over there', Me 'eh (uninterested)', but when we came up behind the Morris Minor 1000 the camera came up snap, snap, snap.. so much so that I think I made the driver a wee bit nervous, he must have wondered what the mad woman behind him was up to :) How adorable is it with it's wooden trim and actual door handle on the back, I love it..
Yup, still taking pictures.. not very good ones the road was bumpy :) Are you a Maserati or a Morris Minor 1000 type? You have to admit that car is cuuuute 🚗 Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
The Morris has character and personality.
ReplyDeleteA very special car … I think!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I saw a car like that! (I am not a fan of cars!) 😅
...what a little sweetie, I've only seen a few over the years.
ReplyDeleteWhat, no picture of the Maserati? No interest in the Quatraport, but some of the 1960s Maseratis like the Sebring, or the 3500 GT are truly beautiful cars. But the Morris Minor is a really special car, especially the Estate Wagon which this is. Never see them here.
ReplyDeleteOoo nice a moggy minor travler a reare beast even here. Nise to see it is still on the road and being enjoyed as for the maserati they can keep it they are not one of my favorits
ReplyDeleteI would have been taking pictures too Grace! It's a great find.
ReplyDeleteA Morris fan here! A family vehicle.
ReplyDeleteAnother Morris fan, it's a beauty. Glad you clicked away, Grace. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Morris would have caught my attention too, Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh a Morris for sure!! Thanks for grabbing your camera!
ReplyDeleteA Woody! It's a great car and in such good condition.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great car!
ReplyDeleteIt´s wonderful to start the day with a laugh, Grace! You´re brutally honest, poor P :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat car, I agree, but woops, safety is my mind.
I remember the old times. My parents smoked in the car (all windows closed in cold temps), there were no seatbelts, once Mum had to brake real hard, I made it to the front and lost a milk-tooth.
Better have a happy Thursday today, right!
Lots of "Moggie Minors" still around in England. I'll try to remember to photograph some as there are usually some at vintage car shows.
ReplyDeleteLindo este carro, uma peça de museu e aproveito para desejar a continuação de uma boa semana.

A real oldie still going strong.
ReplyDeleteItalian cars are nice.
ReplyDeleteI am a Morris Minor sort of gal. Sometimes I think we don't take enough photos of street/vehicle scenes. Those are the ones that will date the photos twenty years from now, unless of course you are admiring a MM today.....
ReplyDeleteJanis
I totally agree with you, I like those old cars with that wood too. Nice pics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute car, love the wood trin.
ReplyDeleteCount me in as a fan! Looks like the owner takes great care of his car, it is so shiny.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the Morris Minor over the Maserati. That car is great. I'd be snapping photos too.
ReplyDeleteThe Morris Minor for sure...no interest in fancy expensive sports cars lol.
ReplyDeleteLove them both! :)
ReplyDeleteYou've just got to love the Morris Minor :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
