Even though it was a wet and windy day the Supreme Court Gardens looked so pretty as we walked back through to the city centre. The jacaranda trees around town are beginning to bloom, the purple flowers enhancing the fabulous State Buildings across the terrace. If you look closer at the lady carrying the 'No one is normal' bag don't you think she's looking at me and thinking 'yes that includes you'😉 The shot below made me smile, it looks as if the kangaroos on the terrace were waiting for the bus and are about to hop on board, that would have made for some fun passenger reactions :) Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
...normal is only a setting for your washing machine! The jacaranda trees are a beautiful sight.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I can enjoy those gorgeous jacarandas through your photos because I'll have to wait several months before they bloom here again. There is something about rain and grey skies that makes for wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place!
ReplyDeleteWe are losing all of our flowers now - just a few hardy ones like geraniums hanging in there. It looks like a nice day to me, Grace! It is only 5˚C and windy here today.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Grace. I like seeing the jacaranda trees blooming!
ReplyDeleteThe jacaranda trees are beautiful to see, Grace.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHardly any colors left in the trees here for the year.
A beautiful color of the jacaranda tree against the green trees and I
ReplyDeleteLOVE the way they placed the kangaroos waiting for the bus. Have a great Monday.
A beautiful gardens with all the trees blooming makes for great photos.
ReplyDeleteRemember we ran into former neighbours who had moved to Perth and left the bus at that stop.
ReplyDeleteThe jacarandas are beautiful. We are lucky enough to have them here too (Southern California) but it'll be a few more month before they bloom - around May/June they start here. I love their color. Your kangaroos on the bus photo made me smile too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place. Loved both pic.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
That tree is beautiful and the roos are great! Do they have to pay full fare I wonder?
ReplyDeleteNever heard of jacaranda tree.
ReplyDeleteFun post!
ReplyDeleteWe had jacarandas in northern California. They're so pretty! (I'll be traveling starting tomorrow. Not sure how regular my commenting may be, though I'll have posts up for at least a week or more.)
I agree, there is no "normal", Grace! Hehe, yes, that would be fun being on the bus with those huge guys!
ReplyDeleteWe once got on a CAT to Queen´s Gardens being unaware there is a game at the stadium, ohhhh, being squeezed. Gladly by "normal" people, not bronze-roos ;-)
Love that second shot. Great statues.
ReplyDeleteGostei destas fotos e aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.

Great photos Grace, specially like the second one showing the old and modern constructions.
ReplyDeleteYou are the Felini of Perth, G!
ReplyDeleteSome abnormal one (It's me) is saying 'Yes!, No one is normal'. ;)
ReplyDeleteCoffee on the go. I can't so that. I like all the colors in these photos.
