hART.. à bientôt.

hART my neighbourhood is a community installation adorned with artwork from over 2000 contributors, there can never be too much love and hearts right :) Last shot UFO's of the friendly type have landed and transformed into swings. All part of the Joondalup Festival at Hillarys. I have news! My Sydney famille arrive tomorrow, we haven't seen them for sixteen months because of closed borders etc. so we are beyond excited, Skype has been a life-saver but absolutely no substitute for hugs and sharing real time. I won't be posting while they are here but hope to come back on a daily basis at the beginning of May and am really looking forward to visiting to see what you have been up to over this unexpected hiatus PDP has had. Happy April, take care and stay safe..

Frenchy's..

Couldn't resist the cute French bulldog mural adorning the wall of Frenchy's Bubble Tea at Hillarys Boat Harbour. While I prefer my Earl Grey minus the bubbles, bubble tea is hugely popular with the younger crowd, this spot is always buzzing.  How about you, bubbles in your tea or not :) Happy new week, take care and stay safe..

Symmetry in reflection..

The April theme for City Daily Photo bloggers around the world is symmetry. We have been spending a lot of time in nature lately. It has been an exhausting summer, and still is even though we are officially in autumn, early morning walks near water have held more appeal than visits to the city. So many birds on this walk around Bibra Lake . The pair of pink-eared ducks above posed perfectly for me the wading birds below are always fun to click, love the way they lift their long legs slow and deliberate, constantly on the lookout for their next nibble.. black-winged stilts below. Hope you have a super weekend, take care and stay safe..
