Yesterday I had lunch with my SIL's and niece at Hillarys Boat Harbour five minutes from home. I find it impossible not to take a few more nautical reflection shots whenever walking past the marina, I must have thousands on file! As you can see it was another harsh winter day in Perth :)
The royal crest below intrigued me :)
Couldn't resist playing with the shot below when I spotted it's name :) Hope you have a good weekend, take care and most of all stay safe...
I can never get enough of shots like this. It seems like you and I have the same kind of winters but, you get to see all that beautiful blue water which is missing here.
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs
ReplyDelete...an expensive parking lot.
ReplyDeleteThe blues in the first photo are gorgeous, PDP. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour winter is nothing like ours, Grace! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! And that is winter in Australia!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections Grace. I'm afraid that I just don't understand winter in Perth.:) Stay warm and have a wonderful weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteI love boats in blue sea, these are lovely photos with reflections.
ReplyDeleteYou really mean you have such beautiful winter now.... it's like our summer ... no snow.
The ripples on the water want you to take their picture!
ReplyDeleteTo put a little downer on your lovely photos, such blue skies means it is not raining, and it is not raining here either.
ReplyDeleteThe boats look like happy little campers in the sun and adore the bright reflections.
ReplyDeleteCould not agree with you more. Harbors and photography are just made for each other. The Royal insignia is curious.
ReplyDeleteYup! that's the old neighborhood
ReplyDeleteNice location. Marinas are wonderful places and then anywhere near the water generally is nice (Except Florida in the summer)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos Grace. Your winters look a lot like ours!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics. My favorite no 1 pic.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend
Beautiful shots! My husband would love walking through this marina (he ogles boats like some men look at women). Your winter looks better than the spring/summer we're having so far.
ReplyDeleteGreat views of the harbour. I can see why you "have" to take photos every time ;))
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful shots, Grace, oh, how I miss the ocean! Thanks for scratching the car free from ice and doing the trip ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love water and boats and marinas...and your camera got all the beauty here! The colors are glorious! What a fine place to live. I can see how you're suffering, though, through your difficult winter weather! :
ReplyDeleteGrace, it must be wonderful to live near the ocean!
ReplyDeleteYes, Gracie, love your captures of a gorgeous Wintery day and a good catch up. x
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! I'd love to be on one of those boats.
