Superheroes down the lane..

It's all about superheroes these days. So many movies depicting the hero swooping in at the last moment to save the day.. or even the world! I confess it's not my favourite movie genre, I'm more of a foreign movie addict so you'll have to help me here. Starting from the top Captain America? Spider Man, that's a long-shot, the Hulk and maybe Thor? How did I do? Aimee would know in a 'Flash' :) This situation saving foursome found down a lane in Highgate. Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  1. Iron Man is second, and Thor is indeed the fourth.

  3. You did better than I would have naming these guys. I'm not much of a fan of these super heroes either but, I do have to say that the world could use a few super heroes these days, couldn't it?

  4. I'm with you re movie genres. And I wouldn't know these characters either. I think that Trump was elected by people who have become delusional watching or reading about superheroes. They don't exist in real life but a lot of folks seem to have exchanged real life for some fantasy that has taken up residence in their heads.

  5. These superheros all seem to have psychological problems and issues with force and aggression. None of them are good at compromise or negotiation. They all play to adolescent power fantasies, but they do make for an interesting photo.

  6. I wouldn't pass the super hero test either. I know a few of them but that's about it. Oh well, I'll just have to survive in the ordinary world. :)

  8. I try to stay away from anything Superhero related. My favorite growing up was The Phantom.

  9. Not many young people would know who the Hulk is. I wonder why he was green.

  11. I don't know them either, Grace!
Just watched a documentary on Wombats in south Ausatralia. It's a rough world out there for them!

  12. I didn't know Ironman. I find the movies are great escapism. I watch for the effects more than anything.

  14. There is a lot of psychological meaning in superheros. Making up for some deep inadequacy?

  15. I can't say I'm a superhero fan. I did watch Superman as a child, so long ago that there have been a bunch of generations since.

  16. So not my "sujet", Grace! But three of them I did recognise. I could need a superhero, though, thinking of it!
