Sous le ciel de Paris.. Under Paris skies..

Yesterday we spent un très agréable afternoon listening to la musique française at Alliance Française Fete de la Musique. It was an indoor event making it a leetle bit tricky light-wise although I'm not too unhappy with the shot above. I thought M. Silvio couldn't possibly look more French, but.. he may be Italian :) minor detail, his rendition of  'Sous le ciel de Paris'.. si bon! If you would like to refresh your memory of this tune check out the version here by the super fabulous ZAZ.  incroyable! Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  1. Portraits of musicians are always good subjects. What fun it is to be part of an audience sat a performance like this. Back from our Alaska cruise. Missed all of you; come visit! Met two women from Melbourne--very smart, well-travelled and interesting!
Hope you had a good week-end!

  3. I think Clinkscale accordions are Scottish too - another minor detail! Never mind it's still a great photo.

  17. Wonderful shot. Whatever his ethnicity he captures "the look." And you have captured a mood. It looks almost 1950s to me.

  18. You hear French music so seldom played nowadays. I always loved the chansons on the radio. Makes me nostalgic when I hear the music, nice photo and memories!
