It's been one of those weeks! I'm happy and very relieved to say my sister is on the mend and should be home within the next few days. I'm beyond sad at the world events over the last few days, from climate change denial to terrorist atrocities, when will it all end! Things that make me smile are most welcome as did the sight of the laid-back, sleepy-eyed hairy skate boarder with his undulating :) pink background found in one of the many lanes off Beaufort Street. Merci beaucoup Caroline for brightening up my, and hopefully your day! Happy Monday, Take care and stay safe.. P.s. big catch up today..
What a pink cutie Grace.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, what's happening in this crazy world???
Dear G; California is the 6th biggest economy in the world, and Gov Brown is in China as I write this speaking with them about climate change. We are not stopping: states, corporations, cities, citizens. We will survive the horrible person residing in our white house! Look at all the helpers, all the carers. Yes. Terror is evil in the world. But I refuse to stop finding joy in the good people everywhere in the world. We are the majority. We will prevail. Bless you my dear friend <3
ReplyDelete...we have to seek out joy and pleasure wherever it can be found.
ReplyDeleteJa die Nachrichten sind meist alles andere als gut oder positiv aber richtig wir sind die Mehrheit und werden uns durchsetzen.
ReplyDeleteUnd zur Aufhellung finden wie Bilder.

Grace, that is a fine, cheerful mural. Could not agree with you more about the World condition. Just remember, just because ONE leader denies science and climate change does not mean a majority of Americans agree with him. Glad to hear your good news.
ReplyDeleteWe look for the good and the humour wherever it is to be found. This pink mural is a wonderful slice of joy in a dark world.
ReplyDeleteMeant to add, so glad your sister is getting better.
ReplyDeleteGood for your sister. This skater of sorts has a zen thing going on.
ReplyDeleteFun mural!
ReplyDeleteIt was a bad week for sure, PDP. I hope this one is better.
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you in your sadness over world events. My friend Mo in London lives in a flat overlooking Borough Market. I've heard from her and she is okay but has been unable to get back to her flat yet. I was glad to hear from her and to have all my friends in London accounted for. The world seems to have gone mad!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your sister is healing. A lovely, bright picture for today. The whole world needs it.
ReplyDeleteWhile you show us so many murals, it is rare that one creates such a feeling of happiness as this one does.
ReplyDeleteI am feeling the same way Grace. just when you think the news can't get any worse....It does. Cute mural.
ReplyDeleteWorld will be like this only, but simple and cute things make us happy like this pink mural. Happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear about your sister, Grace. Let's hold on to the positive things in life. The mural is sweet :)
ReplyDeleteCloudia summed it up pretty well, Grace.
