Back in Art Gallery WA. Actually there is no 'versus' here, both are super stylish. As the designer and maker of fabulous furniture himself P is always attracted to the Craft and Design Gallery, this exhibition titled 'Resonant Objects'. The sofa to the left by Australian designer Christopher Robertson is described as 'over the top foyer luxury'.. I think I could quite happily sit on this elegant sofa while waiting in a foyer :) The sofa to the right by the late Australian designer Robert Forster, although incredible, might make the elegant getting on and off a little harder. I confess to preferring a big comfy squishy sofa at home :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...
The one on the right looks like it could be used in bondage activity.
ReplyDeleteOr so I assume.
I like the curly legs of the orange foyer sofa. But the one on the right looks like an object of torture!
ReplyDelete...how do you get on and off the black one?
ReplyDeleteI like a sofa I can stretch out on & read a book & nap & just veg out! Style does matter though! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI will go for comfort every time!!! Diane
ReplyDeleteAs works of art, they are brilliant, but with limited experience, I have never found anything like that to be comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI think you would need a manual before trying to sit down in the Robert Forster sofa. Anyone have a manual?
ReplyDeleteInteresting furniture. I would shy away from the one on the right.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the one on the left. The other reminds me of a dolphin.
ReplyDeleteThey are both very stylish but I have admit the Robertson sofa would be the one I'd choose. I don't think I could sit on or get up from that other one in a very lady-like manner.
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck?! I couldn't be sure but that device in the first photo was a bird or an instrument of torture.
ReplyDeleteI like the orange one. The other one looks too uncomfortable!
ReplyDeleteOne looks stylish and the other looks futuristic kind of. Interesting nevertheless and nice photos. Warm greetings!
ReplyDeleteI like the orange one too. The black one looks very uncomfortable and not knowing how it works, I might as well pass on it. :)
ReplyDeleteI make comfort look GREAT!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, unusual and so typical of the designs and art you have shown us over the years!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful designs but like haute couture comfort and practicality come in last.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to think of the right one but the one on the left looks stylish.
ReplyDeleteI love those design chairs!
ReplyDeleteThey both look stylish, but the one on the right doesn't look too comfortable.
ReplyDeleteBelas peças de mobiliário.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de boa semana.

I agree with that right one, I can't see myself elegant get up and down there...:)
ReplyDeleteReally, I don't like either of them. I don't like the curly legs on the orange one, it reminds me of an insect of some kind. And the black one.... well, definitely not for me.
ReplyDeleteI went through that, Grace. Bought such a (luckily cheap) thing (IKEA) cause it looked good but so uncomphy. Ingo put it on the wall, looks great does not consume any space :-)
ReplyDeleteInteresting seating! Possibly the one on the left would be comfortable, maybe! Amazing design.
ReplyDeleteI like squishy comfort, so you can toss these two "sofas" or sell them at your earliest convenience! :) BTW, my new blog doesn't work so I'm going to go back and post on my Ocala blog... I've had horrendous internet problems the past few days. Aargh!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to buy one I would have gone for the one with the yellow seat.
ReplyDeleteDanish design is my favourite style.
