In Burswood Park on Sunday to take photos of something so completely different I couldn't walk by without taking a quickie shot of the sweet father/daughter scene above. A different view of the city looking across from the southern side of the Swan River. If you are a cricket enthusiast the stadium lights seen a bit closer below light up the WACA Ground (Western Australian Cricket Assoc), the pitch regarded as 'one of the quickest and bounciest in the world. As of February 2016 four of the nine fastest Test centuries have been scored here' but as host to international games it's 'all out' for the WACA.. fascinating stuff right :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. to see similar above shot in b & w with a touch of colour have a peek here!
Quite a skyline!
ReplyDeleteEven in busy city, there is time and space for those precious moments!
ReplyDelete...such a calm setting.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of going fishing with my dad when I was that age! Nice one, Grace!
ReplyDeleteLove the shot of Father Daughter. I use to fish with my Dad
ReplyDeleteOh my, that father, daughter shot is precious. And to top that off, that view is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love the Perth skyline, that father-daughter shot is perfect!
ReplyDeleteCricket is a waste of grass!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics.
Cricket? Waste of grass!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot.
Lovely photos. Great shot of a Dad and Daughter out fishing together. It is the stuff of positive memories. Had to smile at your comment about cricket. Asked an Australian friend to explain cricket to me. I finally had to beg off several hours later or his presentation, complete with diagrams, might have gone on all night, just like the game.
ReplyDeleteI love that skyline Grace, very nice indeed!
ReplyDeleteNice picture of the dad and daughter. I wonder if she can put her own worms on the hook? I know that when my son first went fishing with his new father-in-law, he was too squeamish to touch the worms, F-I-L had to do it for him. He's Ok with it now though.
ReplyDeleteGreat skyline. And I used to follow cricket in England, not played much here in canada.
I love the father/daughter shot, skirt and girlie hat and all. And a nice shot of the skyline. Mention cricket in the U.S. and the typical person would think you're talking about an insect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely scene with father and daughter !
ReplyDeleteLove the panorama too !
A lovely photo of the father and daughter Grace. I like the skyline too, what a view!

ReplyDeleteSo sweet to see the little girl fishing with her Dad.
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a sweet scene and reminds me when I took my kids fishing many years ago. Gorgeous panorama, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a very sweet scene, glad you took a moment to photograph it. Eddie loves taking the grandchildren fishing ...
