A Mary Poppins moment..



When life gives you crumbs,
feed the birds...

Young lady surrounded by heritage buildings in the Perth Cultural Centre sharing her lunch with the pigeons and seagulls.. am I the only one who on coming across a scene like this immediately starts humming feed the birds tuppence a bag, tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag :) I know right tsk! tsk! tsk!     I sometimes feed the ducks with parts of my lunch when visiting a nature reserve. I get very popular very fast whenever that happens.

    I am inclined to agree with Tom, feeding the birds actually causes problems, but having said that I am guilty of doing it at times !!! Glad you found my daily blog, it has been going for almost 5 years now :-))))) This has a lot to do with the other ones slowing down!! Take care Diane

    I don´t even know if to admit this, Grace... but the only scenes of Mary Poppins I know from... The Simpsons.
    Feeding pigeons is actually forbitten here, yet people still do it and those birds (we call them rats of the air) are so darn fat and aggressive, brrr..

    She is surrounded by beggars waiting for a handout. A nice scene but one I dread seeing because they are messy birds and need some birth control.
