The rest of our walk around Kuljak Island, also known as Black Swan Island, was less stressful than yesterdays situation, we never did find out if the baby darter had been rescued, I'm choosing to think in the positive. The grasses and colourful vegetation on the island, gorgeous at this time of the year is home to many different species of water birds, although this time, despite it's name we didn't spot even one black swan :)
Couldn't resist a quick shot of the dog below nonchalantly leaning on the side of the boat as it was coming in to dock, so relaxed.. like a cat :) Hope you have a super weekend, take care and stay safe..
...the red in your first two pictures look like fall here. I hope that you are enjoying cooler temps!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a very colorful place to explore and especially attractive to all kinds of birds. However, that dog takes the prize. What a great pose!
ReplyDeleteEscaping into nature is really amazing these days. Your images are gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteThe typhoon has passed us and since it traveled through a lot of land on the central islands, it got weaker by the time it reached us. Thanks for your thoughts Grace :)

OMG ... Let's hope they were gone soon to help the poor thing. How idiot can you be to leave the discarded gear there?

Great nature over there although I would like that you had the birds somewhat bigger in the picture. Have a nice weekend.
