... were quiet yesterday. The skies were grey, reflecting the mood perfectly. It was lunch time in the city and all of the streets shown here are usually the busiest with the hustle and bustle of office workers and visitors shopping or looking for something delicious for lunch. It was good to see and at the same time sad to see.. I know you will understand exactly what I mean. Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
...who would have ever thought!
ReplyDeleteIt's oh so quiet
ReplyDeleteIt's oh so still … 😅
I'm not bothered by this silence …
Nature can breathe a bit, I hear the birds singing better and the sky is so incredible blue!
I just regretted that I couldn't move freely ... until now! Have a nice Thursday, Grace! 🤗
Strange times, Grace! It is so hard to believe that the world could shut down like this.
ReplyDeleteYes strange views for an average workday.
ReplyDeleteStay well, Grace.
ReplyDeleteStill very quiet and peaceful but very beautiful Grace! My favorite one was that long stretch of road that leads to a tower! that is just wow!
ReplyDeleteThe birds are enjoying their space.
ReplyDeleteThe city does look different during this strange period.
Beautiful city Grace. Never thought cities all over the world would one day be empty. Hopefully things will get better.
ReplyDeleteI know how that feels. Will it end I wonder?
ReplyDeleteOur bustling cities look so sad at the moment, not that I have visited ours for many weeks.
ReplyDeleteIt does look strange doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteI do like the Autumn colour in your header photograph and also in the trees on this post, particularly in the first one.
All the best Jan
I understand completely. It is certainly strange to see places that are notoriously busy devoid of people. Strange times we are living in.
ReplyDeleteI am getting use to the COVID thing
ReplyDeleteNice street pics.
ReplyDeleteStay well.
The quiet streets and roadways are so strange. You've captured that so well. I'm in awe of how quiet the skies are too. So few planes going over...
ReplyDeleteA bit scary, Grace. Here it´s going back to normal.
ReplyDeleteToo to normal for some.
Still great to see. We have not booked Perth yet...
Yes those are not the cities we are used too. Everything so lifeless... Here the same, hope things will change ever...
ReplyDeleteStrange how quiet everything is world wide it seems! Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteVery quiet.
ReplyDeleteWaikiki has never been so empty or forlorn, yet the beauty is here. People are filtering back including locals who are venturing out cautiously a bit more. You guys have handled this beautifully and we can only hope to rejoin the civilized Nations after our election
ReplyDeleteIt is so relaxing to be in the city at the moment - feels like a country town with bigger buildings. But I am sure most city dwellers don't want to live in a country town.
ReplyDeleteSo strange to see normally busy places like this. Where I live is a lake 'resort' town and it was quiet this past long weekend.
