Nice pussycat!

Well I bet you weren't expecting that on a quiet Monday morning, or Sunday afternoon depending on where you are in the world! It is fierce there's no doubt about it, but at the same time the surrounding block pastel colours makes him less so don't you think, come on he's just a big pussycat after all 😉 Multi-disciplinary Fremantle artist Jackson Harvey, see more of his work here, states that his work is 'characterized by bright, carefully selected colour palettes and soft flowing curves contrasted with bold pixilated textures'. The positioning of the mural in the 'tow away zone' made me smile.. who would dare :) Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  8. Those pixels and hues caught my sight so much! This is beautiful Grace! The pussy cat may be looking strong but the colors softened the feels :)

  9. I don't think I'd dare to park there with that fierce looking "pussycat" guarding the area. Nice one!

  16. Quite fierce but the pinks and blues of the background softens it a bit.

  18. What an amazing find. I LOVE the way the artist described his work and I LOVE the pixelated background. Sure makes that "pussycat" stand out.

  19. It is an image that made me look for a while. The face is nicely (and fiercely) painted and the pixelated parts and their pastel colors add interest, but I am undecided about the work as a whole.
