For the time being anyhow. In the al fresco area of Bocellis Espresso in Forrest Place there would normally be up to twenty or more tables.. and even though things are easing up a bit in Perth this was the seating arrangement a few days ago, eight tables in this huge space. Not to mention Forrest Place itself, the heart of the city, hardly a soul in sight. Although it might be a while before people watching becomes viable again it's better to be safe than sorry. We have a RED storm alert for later today, fingers crossed my roof doesn't go AWOL :) Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..
Seems even lonelier than drinking coffee while sitting at home on your own!
ReplyDeleteHere are the rules relaxed and guess what ... crowds like sheep everywhere ... even in the city center the police had to intervene!
ReplyDeleteI will stay at home! As you say, it is better to be safe than sorry!
I've crossed all my fingers!
Have a peaceful night and a beautiful Sunday!
That seems to be a bit lonely Grace but I had to admit I would still enjoy my coffee with less people from time to time and enjoy my company with caffeine.
ReplyDeletePlease have a safe Weekend dear Grace!
Good luck with the Storm!
ReplyDeleteLove those blue banners. The spacing is the same here these days.
Our restaurants are only open for take out or delivery. It is beautiful patio weather today so the owners are missing a busy time for them. I hope they all survive.
ReplyDeleteOur restaurants are beginning to reopen, but with greater social distancing. What a lovely patio and with all that distance between tables. It will be some time before we get back to normal. Grace, stay safe.
ReplyDelete...sitting apart is the order of the day!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like safe distancing. Good luck with the storm. We were under code yellow for the gusty winds and they sure were gusty. No damage now but seems quiet without the howling wind. Stay safe, Grace!
ReplyDeleteOur state and city are gradually opening. Many people do not want to go out thought since the infection rates are not very low yet.
ReplyDeleteHope the storm is not too bad. We had some roof damage during a hurricane one year. Had the storm not stayed for 3 days the roof may have withstood the wind. Roof needed replaced before the storm.
It sure is strange, huh?
ReplyDeleteI find it equally odd searching the sky at sunset for jet trails. Often, I find none...
Thanks for sharing!
I so love normal, like Monday mornings: everyone full of aspiration and action. I look forward to it, even as I draw the lessons, pain and consolation of what we're going through together, G
ReplyDeleteThis is not how it looks in Stockholm. Seen some scary scenes from the cafés and restaurants these last few days.
ReplyDeleteGood to see the social distancing over coffee.
ReplyDeleteEverything here is takeout right now.
ReplyDeleteYour city is doing a good job of protecting themselves. Good luck with the storm!
ReplyDeleteWe can't sit at cafes until the 1st of June and will be very separated and have to give our names and phone numbers. Your approaching storm is being reported here. Maybe it will not be as extreme as expected. You better tie your bobbled beanie down tight.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of wind lately. Looks like a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see how things develop with so much spacing required.
ReplyDeleteSlowly things are coming together again.
ReplyDeleteIt feels all so strange, the distances..... People are not made for it...
ReplyDeleteI miss the place, too, Grace.
ReplyDeleteMake sure your brolly does not take another journey to your neighbour ;-)
I agree Grace. Better safe than sorry. Hope you are OK with the storms. I’ve read that many homes are without power.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it seems even lonelier than drinking coffee while sitting at home on your own.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm okay with this gentle ease back into things, it's going to be a lot healthier for all. I've been going out and about from the beginning, not getting close to folks but in truth lots of the places I visit, folks aren't hanging in large groups anyway so it's been easy so far.
