Beneath every great hat
there is a great woman 💓
Spotted the darling lady above sipping her take away coffee outside Madlilys Espresso in London Court. One of the busiest spots in the city for tourists London Court was, as the rest of the city, quiet. From Monday, the 18th May, WA will be going into phase 2 in the COVID-19 restriction plan, if you are interested you can see how we will be dealing here. Looking at the regional travel map, it looks like we could possibly head off on a country trip at some point soon.. they need our support also. Happy Sunday, take care and stay extra safe..
...you folks have to be doing a better job than we are!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are starting to slowly open up some things but they still don't want us going out on road trips etc.
ReplyDeleteOh that lady is so cute! Amazing job to Australia and New Zealand in dealing with this pandemic! I can only dream of such mitigation and citizen participation. Sending you hugs this beautiful Sunday Grace!
ReplyDeleteThat hat is wonderful. I love a woman with bold fashion ideas.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, I drove out to the Kierland shopping center to pick up some olive oil at a shop there. I was shocked to see all the restaurants open with people packing their patios. They all looked a little too close for comfort to me. I hope this experiment in reopening doesn't back fire.
A quiet moment when it should be busy. Good luck in phase one, I hope it is successful.
ReplyDeleteWe are moving through the stages too. Not too fast I hope.
ReplyDeletePerhaps she is a member of the Red Hat Society? But she looks lonely all by herself.
ReplyDeleteI would not be brave enough to wear a red hat. We had to go into Sydney CBD for a medical appointment this week. It was still very empty but was before the slow lifting of sit down in food outlets this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the title of this post. Great hat too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a striking color.

This scene represents very well today's times.
ReplyDeleteNice reflections too, she is not completely alone...
Good reflection. I sometimes see a group of lady's in Amsterdam all wearing a red hat or baret and it is a chapter of a society. Looked it up Red Hat Society Netherlands is a cheerful women's movement for ladies who are over 50 and have fun in life. We dress in purple and wear a red hat. There are no rules, except one: NO WHINING! Perhaps also one in Australia.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is a striking hat Grace. I just realized I had turned comment moderation on a while back to avoid those pesky spammers. I just published the comments received since I started blogging again. We are both doing well. Thank you for asking. Hope you are OK too. You & Luis have certainly been tenacious with your daily posts. I admire both of you. Isolation has been a good time for us to revisit our photos. We had forgotten how many we have. They have invigorated us to get out there again when we feel comfortable the coronavirus risk has past. Always drawn to the seaside. Best wishes to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteOh, Grace. My red hat waits to see you again, as Ingo and I do!
ReplyDeleteWe miss you. xox
Loved the click.
ReplyDeleteStay well.
Nice photo Grace. I can see on the window reflections there are a few more people visiting the city centre. I've finally saw my grandkids this Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI like hats ... but I only have beach hats …
ReplyDeleteWe have already started phase 2 for a week.
Have a nice new week ahead! 🤗
Love the hat.
ReplyDeleteLove the photograph.
All the best Jan
lady with the style.
ReplyDeleteCool hat!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections as well. Keep well, Diane
ReplyDeleteNice. And I like the reflection of the white-haired man checking her out.
