'I'm singing in the rain..'

... just singing in the rain
What a glorious feeling I'm happy again.
I'm laughing at the clouds, so dark up above,
Come on with the rain, I've a smile on my face
Just singing, singing in the rain' .. 💙

No words needed really. I know I can't be the only one who lives in a hot dry climate who loves the rain so much. Below you can actually see the storm heading towards us over the river, it was a mad dash to the car but not before clicking a quick shot to show how well the infamous giant Boab tree, story here, has settled in it's new home.. I only got a little bit wet :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..

  1. I'm a big Pluviophile Grace and I love these photos you shared to us, it gives me joy. But of course, as long as it's not flood and too much heavy rains. Just the right amount :)

  2. Nice rain images.
Is the rain warm? In Florida it's so hot even the rain is warm.

  3. I don't mind a gentle rain during the night but love a clear warm day. It is 30˚C here today and really humid.

  5. … and I am singing with you! 😅
All this rain was so badly needed in the summer...
That you were a little wet is no problem ... from the water you grow up! LOL
    Happy Thursday, Grace!

  6. It tends to visit just that bit too frequently here to ever get the appreciation it deserves; we'd be in a sorry state without it.

  11. Can't beat a shot through a wet windshield. Like the first shot with the S curve leading the trees to the city.

  13. There have been a few times when I welcomed the rain but usually we have plenty of it and I want it to stop.

  14. Oh, wow, Grace, that tree sure made some journey!!!
And seeing the Sawn Brewery I sure want a slider now, boy you made me hungry! ;-)
We have "Burgerista", where you can get sliders, too, but Ingo hates the place. Too many young, noisy people. Yep, he´s turning into a grumpy old man!

Awww, such beautiful pictures, can you believe it, we still have no rain! Still only 13C.
Because I bought a rain cap for my bike helmet, I bet Murphy said "HA, NO!".

  18. Rain is nice up until winter time when it makes things too cold.
