When we were in Nedlands last week I was delighted to come across the work here by Perth artist Bec Abdy. A 'fusion of abstract and reality' as are most of her portraits, the soft pastel colours are gorgeous. To see more of this artist's incredible pet portraits scroll down here, so much talent. On a different matter the mature tree we moved is replanted, it didn't want to move and fought all the way but is now in it's new home where it will either flourish or die, let's cross fingers for the former :) Up early and off for a hike this morning, what happened to relaxing weekends!
