Sculpture by the Sea.. Reflections.

Homer: "Of all creatures that breathe and move upon the earth, nothing is bred that is weaker than man" .. The Odyssey.

Homer Simpson: "Marge don't discourage the boy! Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals! Except the weasel!

So many circular vignettes reflected in the stainless steel of  'Poesia in un Campo di Grano' created by Italian artist Silvia Tuccimei. The sculpture is 'a metaphor for the contradictions of progress. The claim that everthing can be controlled from behind a desk, screen or an algorithm, but also an invitation to reconnect to the values of the earth'. I think this is another of the sculptures that will look fabulous at sunset. Happy weekend, take care and stay safe..

P.s. If you enbiggen the collage below who can tell me what is the constant in each and every shot? Bit of a clue, look out to sea 😉

  6. I was totally fooled by the first one! I though we were looking through a frame and not at a reflection! Great works, Grace!
