In times of stress...

.... it's life's simple pleasures that keep us sane! The young girl below fishing with her dad/grandad? was so excited when she actually caught something :) I haven't been out and about as much over the last few days, the weather has been horribly humid, but yesterday we ventured to Hillarys Boat Harbour for breakfast and a walk around the marina. Was lovely to see that there are still many ways to spend outdoors without coming into close contact with too many people. It is a sad world at the moment when it is soundly advised to greet friends from a distance, hopefully normal service will resume shortly 💙 Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..

  4. I spent yesterday at an annual art event here and it's funny, I talked to lots of people but we stayed about 10 feet away from each other and I never shook hands or touched another human. I can't wait for things to get back to normal.

  5. The museums here are closed up for the next couple of weeks, and the libraries are doing a three week close. Same as the schools, and the universities are shifting to all-online courses.

    Terrific shots, Grace.

  6. I have memories of fishing with my dad when I was a kid. He is now 98 and still going!
I ran into a close friend the other day and instead of hugs and cheek kisses we bumped elbows - it was very weird.

  8. They're making memories. Maybe some good will come from this if we can only find entertainment outside in the fresh air!

  9. Aren't we fortunate to have the great outdoors close to our cities. People will appreciate more than ever in the weeks to come.
