Yellow.. In between and all around.

The theme for City Daily Photo bloggers around the world for April is yellow. The curvaceous lines of the sculpture 'in between and all around' by Perth artist Stuart Green are designed 'to be a continuous loop of steel and timber running overhead defying gravity'. It looks fantastic in the foyer of the Fiona Stanley Hospital and... it's not just a pretty face :) it provides seating as it can be used as a bench also 💛 Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  2. I like it, though I can't help being reminded of my childhood Scalextric track. Perhaps that's why I like it!

  8. I am normally a little ambivalent about such sculptures in public spaces, but I like it and as seating, also practical.

  10. Oh yes, that is a beautiful piece. I marvel at how artists make huge pieces like this. It takes a great amount of talent and a huge studio.

  11. A very beautiful bench, Grace.
But then I'm not so sure. When you're in hospital you do not really want a loop but get healthy quick...?
