Grass trees.. Short back and sides,

I don't think I've ever seen the Australian grass tree styled like this before, will have to check them out periodically to see how they grow.. seen here in Yagan Square . Why do they remind me of Cousin Itt without his hat, can you see it or is it just me :)

Meanwhile the iron cladding on the buildings in the square and the 9mt tall Wirin sculpture are oxidizing together beautifully under the warm/hot WA skies. Re the grass trees above, have a look here, guarantee it will make you smile, could we call this a 'tullet' :)  Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..

  2. David Crosby (of Stills, Nash and Young fame) used to have a haircut like that. Nowadays you see young men who have just the bit on top that he was missing.

  12. Haha, oh, Grace, Cousin Itt sure is new to me, what a bummer, I will never look at those trees the same, LOL!
Men and long hair. Or even Vokuhila („vorne kurz, hinten lang“, short in front, long on back)... call me old-fashioned, it´s a huge no!

  13. I really like this way of pruning these tall grasses, it's very original, you would really believe sculptures. And I also really like this picture with the statue of the man in the foreground. I hope you're okay, Gracie.
