Inglewood on Beaufort..



In Inglewood on Saturday I spotted the colourful work here by Perth mural, community and sculpture artist Mel McVee aka Melski. You will recognize her work here. The Western Spinebill honey-eaters sitting here in the flame trees on Beaufort Street a colourful and quintessentially Australian scene. Hope you had/are still having a fab weekend.     Colourful indeed! I remember being told NOT to draw black lines around everything when I was at school. in fact I was told several times but it didn't stop me.

    This is the kind or mural I find attractive. I love the bright colors and the clean lines...almost has a comic book look but a very upscale comic book look!

    Love that. I think I need to borrow you and we both do a walk around in Angouleme. There are so many murals there and as N cannot walk far because of his feet, I never get the chance to walk around properly. Impossible to drive around! Happy week Diane
