Old bricks dipped in gold..

I'm not sure how many times I've walked over the Horseshoe Bridge from Northbridge into the city, or why on this particular occasion I noticed the bridge, built in 1904, dazzlingly reflected in the gold 'internal staircase' (check it out) of the State Theatre Centre opened in 2011, but I'm happy that I did :) We will be looking for ways to keep cool here in Perth this weekend, how about sharing a wee bit of that snow over there in the Northern Hemisphere! Bon weekend, take care and stay safe...
The question for CDP'ers on February 1st theme day is this..  If you had to leave forever the city
from which you usually post, what would you miss most?

  2. Lovely reflection and captures, I'm happy you caught these. If it's snow you really want, if we could figure out a way to ship it to you, I know plenty would be lined up to do it! Enjoy your weekend and keep shooting, and of course sharing!

  9. I must admit I've never ever seen such a staircase and will probably never ever see such again! Amazing. These reflections are superb, too. Not to worry about the heat because the weather will change and then it will feel too cold.

  18. Wonderful photo. The gold shape, particularly in the second photo, makes me think of a shark surging out of the ocean.

No snow here to send you. Ask Birdman. He has it to spare.
