If I had to leave Perth I would miss the sun going down over the city.. the view from Kings Park. I would miss walking along the pristine white beach in the fresh sea air under a blue sky. As much as my garden exhausts me at times, especially right now in summer, I would miss the many coloured flowers that flourish in the heat and the birds that come to visit each morning for brekkie.. but most of all.. ta da centre stage, I would miss my family, they are as mad as hatters, but they're my mad hatters :) Looking forward to seeing what you would miss if you had to leave your city. Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...

If you left Perth I would miss all your photos! Nice collage.
ReplyDeleteBetter to be mad than boring I always say! Love you Mamma!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful collage, Grace. And all the most interesting people are at least a little mad, you know.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collage indeed, Grace!! And what a beautiful city it is! I can see why you love it!! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh Grace, you would miss so many fantastic things... don't leave Perth !
ReplyDeleteGreat collage !
Even just ONE of those nice things would be too much to leave behind.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful montage of what your city is all about and I think you probably have more to "miss" than some of the rest of us!
ReplyDeleteprachtig heel mooi gedaan.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely miss those gorgeous views as well!
ReplyDeleteExcellent post. I would miss all that two.

Ahhhh Grace, you'll miss too many things to ever leave! I hadn't thought of a collage, too late now (or rather I'm too lazy!)
ReplyDeleteYes, a run down of the pleasures of living in Perth, Grace. I nearly ran with "people", but decided there might be too many of them to miss them all.
ReplyDeleteA lovely and colourful collage of what you would miss in your world Grace and as you say ... your mad-hatters ..... they are irreplaceable.
ReplyDeletetsk, tsk, tsk.
ReplyDeleteYou cheated. hahahaha I knew you'd never pick just ONE. Good show.
I had great struggles with this theme. It was a good idea to do a collage, Grace! We would all miss Perth if you left! ;-))
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Blow me away with color. :-)
ReplyDeleteKeep the mad family, but can I have the parrots the sea and that yellow thing up above...?
ReplyDeleteNot where I thought you would go, but a great response.
ReplyDeleteGreat and understandable choices Grace- a lovely large family too!
ReplyDeleteI get the impression that you LOVE Perth, Grace. ;))
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely blog post and so good at reminding me of what is so wonderful about a hometown. I love the way you organised your photos too, it shows off the place beautifully. If I had to leave where I am now I would definitely miss the countryside here - it's so quiet and open and it's a big change from my old hometown but it's inspiring and it's now home! - Tasha
ReplyDeleteGreat work Grace. I love those birds. I commented to Mrs. today as we were out all day bird watching about how even the birds in Florida are boring. In fact no place, except a zoo, do we see birds as colorful as you have any where in the USA.
ReplyDeleteAll good choices
ReplyDeleteThe collage is a great way to share the images that make your life in Perth important. Of course, I LOVE the colorful birds!!
ReplyDeleteGreat collage.
ReplyDeleteOh, so much to miss! Best place in the world. I hope you never leave, 'cause we would ALL miss YOU.
ReplyDeleteA very cute post and collection of photos. I think you are saying you would miss all that is colorful in colorful Perth, including your colorful clan.
ReplyDeleteYou have lived in some very different places around the world but your heart is there in the City of Perth. As the American song Simple Gifts has it, 'tis a gift to come down where we ought to be."
ReplyDeleteYou are great with color, and I think you would miss the bright colors of Perth. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteTo us, you and yours ARE Perth!

ReplyDeleteI can imagine you would miss this all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice and creative posting.
ReplyDeleteLife is good in Perth, that's for sure. Greetings from TilburgDailyPhoto.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot to miss there, Grace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post Grace! I love how you call your family "my mad hatters". I could say the same about my own family!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect post! Bravo!
ReplyDeleteIt is certainly a colourful place where you live!

ReplyDeleteYour pics sure are unbeatably beautiful!
It is so hard to choose Grace. Daily photo blogging focuses not only our cameras but also our attention on so many aspect of our surroundings which we love. I guess that;s why I enjoy it.

Not that I am running late (it's 3rd Feb) but let me be your 55th comment because I love your collage. Every time Perth gets a mention I think of you (and I see that a family member of yours has joined in the blogging fun too).
ReplyDeleteIf you had to leave Perth, all of us out here would suffer greatly...
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful collage, and I recognized one family member in that photo. It made me laugh to read the "mad as hatters" comment. You are a dear!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
Long time away, nice to catch up with you Grace. Stunning colours!
