I hope you are happy and well since I last checked in, looking forward to catching up with your Christmas and New Year festivities. It was a little sad waving farewell to our Sydney famille yesterday, thankfully not long before we see them again in April. I don't know about you but I always find the New Year theme the hardest of all, so many varied reasons that an image can appeal. With the shot above it was visual, I like the colours and of course there is a reflected arch and I do love an arch. In the shot below it was the emotion, to see so many young people marching with their grandfathers in the ANZAC Day parade inspires a wee bit of hope for the future..
If you had been here in Perth the last few days, 35/39C and not a drop of rain in sight, you would know why the image below appeals, nuff said!
These two because it was the first time I've captured this awesome hunting aviator, not happy about being disturbed, right in my own backyard and a scary reminder of how 'bird eat bird' it is out there!
The shot below was all about 'right time, right place' :)
.. and just scraping into the 2014 shots by two days and without doubt my own favourite and precious subject.. hard to believe she will be one year old in April! Here's wishing you all the very best for the new year, back to Perth 'goings-on' tomorrow.. take care and stay safe.
Happy new year Grace! I wish all the best for you and your family! Here is snowing so White Christmas came true! Kisses!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Grace. The ANZAC Day photo is poignant, but capturing the bird was pretty special. You granddaughter has a lovely smile. I think she will be a happy child.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year's -- EVE, Grace! Still trying to catch up with Perth. :-)
