Bus stop birds..

The trip that keeps on giving :) On our way back from the Perth Observatory on Thursday we stopped in Kalamunda for lunch where I spotted, hard to miss, the colourful flock of birds painted on a bus stop.. most of the bus stops are beautifully painted in this area. This just half an hour after spotting the scarlet robin in yesterday's post, I was on a 'birder' roll 😉 Couldn't find a name which is a shame because the colourful aviators here certainly brightened up a dull day. Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  2. Beautiful. I've not seen any interesting bus stops in the USA.

  3. Wow, what a great looking bus stop. Ours just have a little sign and a generic enclosure, how boring.

  5. I would say this bus stop is for the birds, and that is a good thing. Great looking mural. Too bad the artists name was not available.

  13. Oh, Grace! I must not let Ingo visit your blog. Otherwise I´ll end up in that Observatory next time (OK, I´ll be even fair and tell him!).
Beutiful mural(s) and I love the hole, we always used that when peeking out for the bus :-)

  14. Sorry I'm late visiting. I've been fighting keeping my internet going. It went down Monday and my provider sent someone out Tuesday to work on the problem. Now I'm playing catch up.

You have found an amazing bus bench. I wish our benches looked that beautiful, but many of our bus benches aren't even covered. You have discovered an incredible one and it is SO well painted, too.
