It was mon amie française Marie's birthday yesterday, what better way to celebrate on a beautiful winter's day than brunch under the trees in the gardens of Maison Saint Honore.. did I mention that it is also a macaron factory, a short video to share where we were. I added a painterly touch to the photo that perhaps I shouldn't have :) original below. Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
Bon aniversari !! Un lloc ideal per celebrar-lo i per donar-li un toc artístic, també ! :)
ReplyDeleteBona setmana !!
...the edit looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteLove the edited touch Grace! Gave it so much life and character. But the original one is as great as it tells a story :)
ReplyDeleteThat video's made me hungry. Just off to the fridge.....
ReplyDeleteGosh would not have loved to be there! Bonjour! Bon Anniversair!
ReplyDeleteThe painterly touch photo is more interesting. I like the colors. Good thing you could eat outside and maintain distance. Looks safer.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteThat sure was a great way for celebrating your friend Marie's birthday à la française. Loved the video as well!
Hugs,
Mariette
Outside is the only way we can go to restaurants or cafes here. Macarons are a perfect way to celebrate a birthday. Like your editing too, Grace.
ReplyDeleteRestaurants are opened in our town. We have a few restaurants here with social distancing and it seems to be ok. We haven't gone in though, not going to sit inside.
ReplyDeleteThe editing you did is absolutely beautiful. When I first saw it, I thought it was a painting or a mural. Great work, Grace. As an old ad used to say, "you got skills". :)
What a lovely setting and I like your artistic version. It's funny the things I notice these days. That server isn't wearing a mask. That would not work here. All servers are masked here and the few restaurants that are open require patrons to wear masks until they start eating. I can't wait for this Covid nightmare to be over.
ReplyDeleteThe artistic version is ok. It looks like a nice setting.
ReplyDeleteThe artístic version looks like a real painting. Beautiful spot to celebrate your friend's birthday.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great effect. Love it.
ReplyDeleteLoved the post and pics
ReplyDeleteLove macarons, we see them here too now in some shops. They go all over the world. Thought you had started painting in that first photo, very artistic image!
ReplyDeleteI like that painterly touch.
ReplyDeleteThe painterly touch is just perfect I reckon.
