There are many interpretations as to the meaning of the King of Diamonds the one that suits here is that 'it evokes abundance and financial success' 🔶 Knowing well my love of all things French when P came across a review for Maison Saint Honore in the Swan Valley, and as the weather is still very much Al-fresco perfect, we picked up mon amie française Marie, naturellement :) and set off to investigate further. The abundance was our brunch of poached eggs, toast, mushrooms, bacon, tomato, potato croquet and the unexpected much enjoyed petit perfect croissant with coffee.. thank goodness I hadn't had time to eat breakfast :) The financial success was also ours, tres reasonable prices for such a feast. I only took the shot above, their website pics are much more delicious, check it out! Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. It goes without say that we went home with freshly baked bread and a few extra pastries.. you would have too right!
That sounds like a good brunch.
ReplyDeleteThat particular card would come in handy to have up your sleeve during poker.
Sounds like a great place to eat Grace.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun with friends, along with good food!
ReplyDeleteI did check their site and now my mouth is watering! Those Macarons alone were tempting and then I looked at the cakes. Wow, this looks like a great place.

Mmmm it does sound good and yes a good job that you had not had time for breakfast 😊 Keep well Diane.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great brunch, Grace.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great place. One of my favorite neighborhood cafes use cards just like that for bringing out orders to the tables!
ReplyDeleteAn almond croissant would be a nice thing to take home from there, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThe setting looks very pleasant and your brunch very nice, minus the mushrooms.
ReplyDelete...how do you shuffle?
ReplyDeleteI love breakfast! I enjoy it more than any other meal. It would be a favourite of mine without croissants though.
ReplyDeleteHawaii - Like. Yet again!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds perfect. Now I'm hungry...
ReplyDeleteFun shot!
ReplyDeleteWow great. Loved the click.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Grace, le petit pain we found in the tablelands in 1999 made us stay a day longer just for that! The French know about bread and buns, too! :-) Oh, and croissants!!! Not healthy but so yum! Maccas (Germany) has one for brekkie stuffed with cheese and ham. Shoot, don´t make me go! ;-)
ReplyDeleteA feast always needs a King.
ReplyDeleteIt looks magical overthere, french baquets....mmmmmm. Btw, we call sitting on a terrace now "Al-Fresco", SC and I both like that name!
ReplyDeleteYour world seems to be filled with great eating places.
ReplyDeleteA fun shot at a great place. Al fresco is so charming.
