On the way to Sculpture by the Sea we passed the mural here on the side of the North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club ski shed. Created by super talented Fremantle artist Shakey for the centenary celebrations of the club. The design spanning the 16m wall 'depicts a timeline of club members representing different generations from past to present, reflecting that the club isn’t just about surf life
saving, it's about family, history and moving forward'. Can you believe I didn't have my wide-angle lens! Sculptures tomorrow. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..
Very eye catching and nice that they have a collective meaning for the mural.
ReplyDelete...when I took lifesaving in Boy Scouts, they said 'reach, thow, row, go.' I still reminds it after all these years.

ReplyDeleteVery nice mural. AH, I do similarly when digital imaging...I'll have a normal lens and then find I need a w.a. or telephoto. When I have the zoom I find I need a prime. Never do that when I use a real camera though (generally carry a camera bag full of them). I get lazy with digital.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done!
