It's that time of the year again.. the 15th Annual Sculpture by the Sea, from the 1-18th March. Officially opened on Friday we had a quick peek on Thursday while many of the artists were still working. Such a fun event on one of Perth's fabulous beaches. Above 'Thoughts of Pinocchio' by South Korean artist Kim Bong-Soo, haven't seen the artist's statement yet but am sure it will be something along the lines of 'men in suits telling porkies' 😉 Will be heading down early on Monday morning with Aimee to take photos of the completed sculptures. I hope you enjoy seeing the often quirky, always meaningful sculptures as much as I enjoy showing them. Happy Sunday, take care and stays safe.. P.s. don't you love my rubbery legs :)
...this give a whole meaning to the term 'chrome head!'

Hooray! Hooray this is one of my most favorite times of the year as well catching all these wonderful creations. This one you've gifted us with here is unbelievably delightful! I can imagine all kinds of captions if someone were to offer this as a suggestion! Beginning with the reflection on "chrome head" but most assuredly the people on the tip of his nosy nose! What fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting sculpture.
