Guessing by the number of times I've come across couples, both local and international, having pre wedding photos taken around Perth it's clear that it is now a 'bit of a thing'. Gawd, don't know about you, but once, at the actual wedding was enough for me.. I know right, so romantic 😉 As the sun went down on Cottesloe Beach last week I couldn't help wondering if the couple here realised, as they stepped down onto the beach with a thousand others that Sculpture by the Sea was happening :) I wish them all the happiness. There are many beautiful spots around Perth that are perfect, have a peek here, you will recognize a few I'm sure. Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
Wonderfully lit!
ReplyDeleteSounds like jumping the gun to me, what happens if they get cold feet and don't go ahead
ReplyDeleteThey may have some company in their pics!
ReplyDeleteMust be comforting for the photographer though - imagine making a hash of the photos on the big day.
ReplyDeleteThe light is perfect for those romantic photos. It was the magic hour.
ReplyDelete...I can see why it's a 'bit of a thing.'
ReplyDeleteNice light in this beautiful setting.
ReplyDeleteIt's magical for them...
ReplyDeleteLook how wonderful the light is.
All the best Jan
I do have admit, that is one magical spot for wedding photos!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great place for photos, wedding or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThe top shot of your post is like an one scene of a romantic movie!
ReplyDeleteThe wedding veil is so so beautiful! ;)
Awesome pics
ReplyDeletePerfect light and that first one is a great shot. But doesn't the shoot make the actual wedding almost anti-climatic? ("Oh. You're wearing that outfit again. How'd you get sand all over the hem, darling?")
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this before. Love your photos. I'm having trouble with blogger and commenting actually it is my computer upgrade program.
ReplyDeleteA was looking at my sister's wedding photos recently ( she was married 37 years ago) and she had her photos taken on her wedding day before the wedding instead of afterwards. I thought what a disappointment for the actual wedding procession not to be a surprise for her husband - but this seems even more extreme. Not my style but I am sure it will catch on.
ReplyDeleteGrace!!! :-) You made me laugh out loud!
ReplyDeleteAnd I´m with you, the wedding itself was enough for me, I was exhausted and the wee bit of rain and a rainbow was pressie enough (and certainly that it was Perth/Joondalup and there were some friends with us. That we had a "cheapy" wedding, too. In Germany my Brother would´ve tried (unsuccessfully but with loads of tries) to talk me into an expensive one, LOL.).
How special can it be when there are other couples, too?
It seems to me that wedding photography is about creating A moment not capturing THE moment.
ReplyDeleteLooks very pretty indeed.
ReplyDeleteBelas fotografias, aproveito para desejar a continuação de uma boa semana.
