Stormy skies over the Swan...

How would you like to enjoy your morning coffee/tea/juice/G&T :) overlooking a view like this.. even on a cold (17C) and stormy day as it was yesterday that view is fabulous. The Garratt Road Bridge, top corner to the left and if you pull the shot in a flock of birds on the sandbank on the other side of the river. While we were there we saw spoonbills, egrets and pelicans.. dolphins make a regular appearance. I spent most of the day with mon ami français who is lucky enough to enjoy this view every day from her apartment in the riverside suburb of Maylands, une vue inspirante! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe... P.s. even better sitting on benches below watching river life up close :)

  3. Grace, your views are beautiful, but 17 C is not cold unless there is a strong wind. Get a jumper, it is lovely. We are delighted when it reaches 17 degrees here in Barcelona.

  5. It is -5˚C here today and we are all thrilled that the sun is out so it doesn't feel too cold. 18C and people would have shorts on! I could sit and look at the views there for a long time, grace!

  8. Very beautiful. Take away that fabulous garden and it's look like some of the places here in Florida. Summer like and breezy here all day. About 27C and low humidity!
