Freo beach people.. vive les différences!

Yesterday we had breakfast in Fremantle.. it's going to be a Freo kind of few days. Perth is back to the low 30C's, parfait! The lady above, finding a quiet spot on Bathers Beach to read her book, was joined by two sweet little dogs frolicking in the surf, the dogs not their humans:) The contrast in beach wear is quite striking, one in an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow bikini, I dare you to listen :) and the other covered from head to heel.. vive les différences! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. can you see the green and red light houses on the north and south moles waaay out there in the right hand corner of the last shot.

  1. Idyllic conditions, and yes, I can see the houses in that last shot.

There is no way I will click on that song, or I'll have the bloody tune stuck in my head all day. :)

  2. Read my Thursday-post's title, Grace, ha! :-) Funny coincidence.
Well, skin cancer comes to mind seeing that lady, no?

Frolic is a dog-food-brand over here btw.

  3. That still sounds very warm to me. But I would gladly take it!

  4. I could see those lighthouses after I made the photo bigger. That lady in the bikini is scaring me. After having several pre-cancer cells removed from my back and face, my sun bathing days are long past. I'd be dressed like the dog walkers.

  5. A beloved radio personality here, Stuart McLean, died yesterday from melanoma and that is all I could think of looking at that woman.

  6. I used to love that song!

Now, I just love this beach....

  7. Ha, I'd be the one covered up. My skin burns so I'd never go golden, just red. Not worth it.

  8. You can't beat a day at the beach. I remember that song all those years ago.

  9. No, I am not going to listen. Some things are best left in the past. Hatted lady certainly has a good tan, but I am not sure that is a good thing.

  10. The teenie, weenie lady must have been on the beach for a very long time, that colour!

  11. The color of that water is amazing. It reminds me that keeping our oceans and other bodies of water clean should be a top priority. As for attire, I'd be the one covered from head to toe.

    Have a great weekend, Grace.

  12. Looks like a lovely day at the beach, but not with my sun sensitive skin. Always fun to play in and around the water.

  13. Contrasting beach wear seems to be the go these days. Summer gear at the beach is not all about skimpy costumes. It's also about protection from harmful sun's rays. Great scenes.
