After three days of rain it was good to catch some sunshine yesterday. I took these shots on Scarborough Beach to warm the cockles of your Northern Hemisphere hearts :) Check out the colour of the water, aquamarine perfection! Happy to see reader guy above had Cancer Council strength sunscreen in his kit. Young lady below on phone missing the fabulousness all around her.. prospector guy hoping to uncover a treasure beneath the sand so white.. and no beach-series would be complete without a surfer dude :) Hope you had/are still having a super weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe...
Oh ja schöne Bilder vom Strand und vom Meer.

...man oh man, did we get rain yesterday with more on the way!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh...I'm feeling so refreshed by a day at the beach! Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteThat water is amazing. What a perfect color.
Ces photos de plages me font rêver. It's so cold here in Paris.
ReplyDeleteLook at the tattoos on his arm! ;))
ReplyDeleteWonderful beach views, Grace.
You make me homesick for Waikiki
ReplyDeleteAh, cockles gratefully warmed.... says me, watching sleet falling outside here.
ReplyDeleteJealous is not the word...
ReplyDeleteQuite a way to lull the day away!
ReplyDeleteHere it's snowing today.
There's a Scarborough Beach not far from here but the water is a little different from yours.... here it's frozen solid!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour in your water, I am envious of those lucky people enjoying the beach. I wonder if the chappie with the metal detector found anything worth while? I've always wanted to have a go with one of those.
What an absolutely fabulous colour.
ReplyDeleteThe colour of summer, so good to look at.
Have a great week ahead
All the best Jan
Relaxation, sun and warmth down at the beach. A great place to spend a day. We have another cloudy day 4C.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a case for Sherlock Holmes. We could call it "The Man with the Tattooed Arm". :-)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so nice AND warm!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful beach. I really like the colour of the water.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics
ReplyDeleteToo dangerous to swim in the water here, after heavy rain washes all the ghastlies from the streets and into the bay.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Grace, beautiful pics! Off to work now in -1C ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile, a beach in the sun, that is so far from our circumstances at the moment. Loved it to see!
ReplyDeleteyes, the color of the water is amazing! beautiful photos! hopefully the girl on the phone looks up to appreciate every now and then ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Grace. After a humid day like today I could have done with a refreshing swim.
ReplyDeleteYour summer sea always looks a gorgeous aquamarine colour, and the contrast with the sand is beautiful. Wish I could say it cheered me up, unfortunately it just made me envious and wanting to jump on an Oz bound plane!
ReplyDeleteYep...your winters are definitely more pleasant than ours!
ReplyDeleteThat water is beautiful - love the green. But I've never understood people who go out and lay in the sun in order to read and get cancer.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the sea so bright, Grace!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water color, Grace. Is this a beach scene competition? I'll see you one and raise you one.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt has actually been raining here also. Way too much though.
Really nice photos.
This warms me up a bit. Nice with the zooming snaps on the beach guy.
ReplyDeleteThat looks divine! Here the winter is slowly saying good-bye. Cannot wait.
