After an appointment yesterday in Nedlands, a stones throw from Kings Park, we stopped in to have a quick cuppa and soak in the view on a pretty perfect weather-wise morning. A different view of the War Memorial above and below the shiny new sign announcing the entrance to the Botanical Gardens. One of these days when I have time I'm going to find a position close to the city view lookout and just take shots of people with their selfie sticks.. so many!
Walking along we come to the entrance to the Kokoda Track, the man you can just see heading down was one of many we saw make the hike down..
The Federation Walkway below is a popular spot for photos, with the Swan River and the city as a backdrop...
A view of the freeway disappearing south...
... and back up the hill to the car. It's been a hectic few days, hope all is well with you, happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...
Kings park is a fabulous place. We've got more family arriving Wednesday and the park will probably be our first port of call. The new sign is nice.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great park! You really do live in an amazing area.
ReplyDeleteSometimes with the grind of the work week, you forget about how nice it is to just bring your sports gear out of storage and walk around the city in the parks and enjoy nature. It's a good reminder to me to make sure that I get some downtime for myself so perhaps I'll take the kids out for a nice run this weekend after this!
