Sundowners with a view, or three! Looking straight out from Henry's Rooftop bar, top floor of the new Reveley complex at Elizabeth Quay to the peak of Kings Park.. and to the left below, the sun going down over twilight sailing just beyond the Elizabeth Quay Bridge, a bit of an unexpected bonus...
To the right the city, the glow from the setting sun mirrored in the glass fronts of the high-rise along the Esplanade. You may recognize the buildings on either side of the sculpture Spanda from Saturday's post here. It looks pretty quiet down there, that's because it was only 6pm. A few hours later the quay would be filled with Fringe World and Chinese New Year revelers and I would be snuggled up at home with a cup of tea, last of the party-animals that's me :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...
Beautiful views of Perth Grace! That's a great bar in Elizabeth Quay.

What a great place to linger awhile and enjoy the water views. Love the sky in the first couple of photos.

Am I right that this is the complex that you hated so much when it was being built? Seems to have turned out OK.
ReplyDeletePerhaps a better alternative to The Lucky Shag.
