Words to live by! When it's difficult to decide between hot or cold refreshments after a morning in the city, and as confusing as the almost wintry weather over the last few days has been, there is only one solution.. have both :) Bearing in mind that many of you will be reading this in single digit or minus weather temperatures, I can't truthfully say it has been that cold here in Perth and to be honest the weather doesn't have anything to do with it, ice-cream in San Churro Northbridge is always a good idea! Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...P.s. note the small serves of ice-cream, I do have a wee bit of self control :)
If one is tired of ice cream, one is tired of life!
ReplyDeleteI like that saying on the cup Grace. I'm always ready for an ice-cream, although I do love a hot chocolate in winter.
ReplyDeleteI like ice-cream too, in fact I enjoyed ice-cream for dessert only a few days ago..yummy!
ReplyDelete...hot and cold...mix it up.
ReplyDeleteFine sentiment, and I would love a dish of ice cream as well. Tempting pictures.
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like a great way to refresh after a day on your feet!
ReplyDeleteIce cream is a treat for all seasons I think, yummie!
ReplyDeleteWe used to make home made ice cream in the winter when I lived in Pennsylvania. Ice cream is good anytime, especially when it is cold enough outside to make the ice cream taste warm when it is eaten outside.
ReplyDeleteI had some ice cream last night, Grace, when I had finished shoveling snow! I saw films this morning of the flooding in WA. Glad you are okay. You are the first thing I think of when I hear of any problem in Australia.
ReplyDeleteIce cream can always make you feel better and that is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteWell, heck! Why not? Vanilla, please.
ReplyDeleteI'm an ice cream fan. Treat my client and I to some pastries.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
I agree with William! Our weather is crazy too. Summer like weather yesterday and winter has returned today!
ReplyDeleteOh, Grace, I just had hot chocolate for a change :-)
ReplyDeleteI do like that saying on the cuppa!
Top it off with a cup of black coffee and you have perfection. What do they call coffee with nothing added in Australia? Black? Plain?
ReplyDeleteI may be coming to Australia with a group of students in 2018. I need to work on my vocabulary!

Happy sunday!
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the fresh cup of joe. Just a quick note here regarding the wettest February post. My buddy lives and works on the ocean front in sunny San Diego California. The ocean surge during the last 3 full moons have allowed the tides to flood into their parking area. And the last SUPER moon, their parking lot was under water for a full week.
ReplyDeleteHere in Colorado, we set a new high temp Friday, rain all day yesterday. Rain in February??? So Sucks.
So this is way I say THANX 4 ALL THE PHOTOS. I appreciate your eye for creativity, your travels around your beautiful city, & for sharing simple moments in time.
Cheers
... and I'm sure it tasted good!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Oh, that looks sooooo good!
ReplyDeleteIce cream is appropriate during any weather and circumstance.
ReplyDeleteI love ice cream as much, or more than any other food. Unfortunately, it not only doesn't love me, it doesn't even like me...
Can't wait for the first ice cream of the year. Sadly i think it will be a while until the weather is good enough for that sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteAnd a zero-coke ;) Arianna
ReplyDeleteBoth are in a hot color.
