Connect(us)..

We were in the city last night for Fringe World .. so many pics to edit! On the way back to the car we passed through Kings Square to see how the sculptures I pictured here looked lit up at night, big fail, lights not on! I was consoled by the sight of Connect(us) (fabulous pics on link) which looks stunning at night, along with the lighting on the surrounding buildings. The 110mt suspended sculpture by Australian artist Warren Langley and industrial designer Trent Baker features 'an inner concealed, sustainable light source. This allows the work to undergo a soft, subtle colour shift – from yellow by day, to the ochres and rusty reds of the Western Australian landscape by night'. When the Perth City Link Project is finished this area is going to be amazing. Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. big catch up today!

I have been slack about getting around to my blogs....or even posting myself. I notice that three of my followers have stopped blogging or taking a break. Sad
