Celebrity crush..!

Photos courtesy Aimee:  As the rumour spread a small crowd gathered outside the back entrance to one of Perth's most popular eateries above, Perthites are way too laid back for hysteria :), publicity photos with staff below..

Le chef emerges!

Knowing how Aimee loves to cook, it stands to reason that if she was going to have a celebrity crush it would most likely be a chef :) When she heard on Friday that Jamie Oliver was paying a fleeting visit to his Perth restaurant on the ground floor in her building, she couldn't resist nipping down to see if she could catch a glimpse, she did.. and more! If you scroll down here there's a better pic and more about his visit, which personally I think is long overdue seeing as the gig opened a year ago and is the best performing Jamie's internationally. Yes Perth is a little isolated :) but when you're traveling first class what's the big deal right! So who's your celebrity crush? Happy Monday, take care.....

  1. Stunning redhead, but the celeb needs to see a dentist, I believe. hehehehehehe

  2. Jamie is one chef with his head on the ground and not in the air like many chefs. I like that he promotes good nutrition and great food and not the fancy unable to find and make at home things many of the other chefs promote.

Great photos. Is that an Aimee selfie?

  4. Uhm, no crushes here, sorry! I did go hear Bill Clinton stump for Hillary two presidential campaigns ago. Does that count??? :-)

  5. Always fun to meet someone you admire. Great snaps of Aimee and the chef at both the blog and Perthnow. Not sure whom I would chase down, I will have to think about that one.

  6. Aimee had a good day! I don't understand celebrity "crushes," but they seem to have always been relatively popular!

Re your comment on Ocala: How's that working out for you? A number of studies have been done of prayer for the sick. Involved with scientists, medical personnel, and clergy. They have consistently found that prayer has nil effect. Except that if people know they are being prayed for they tend to get sicker, rather than well. :) I dunno about rain.

  9. Perth is in the news a lot lately due to the search for the missing airliner.

  10. Cheers for Aimee--it's great to meet one's celeb crush (unless they turn out to be a jerk, of course).

My celebrity crush? One of Australia's own: Chris Hemsworth!

I would cross the road to see George Clooney any day, any weather!

  18. Oh, so that's Jamie Oliver... I've heard the name many times, but haven't seen pictures of him.

    Mine would be Emily Blunt.

  20. I must not watch enough television - I don't know who this is. The locals seem pretty excited, though.

  27. Tell Aimee that I'm so jealous! I love Jamie Oliver. I watched all of his TV shows when they were on and I visited his pizza place in London when I was there. I saw him once in San Francisco at the Farmer's Market. He's much taller than I thought he was. But, I never got a cute photo like the one above. That is perfect!
