I often wonder what the 'elusive' factor is that elevates a new eatery from the new place in town to 'the' new place in town! I've come to the conclusion that however cool and quirky if the food isn't good then you may as well close those doors right now. No such worries for this new foodie joint. Going to tell you the name tomorrow but if you look there are some definite clues below, check out the cute wee guy stuffed in a hole in the wall :) his vest is a bit of a give away.....

I'll check out the article!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is, that food looks good. And that little guy stuck in the wall looks rather whimsical.
Here we're getting snow today. Go figure.
Awww. That´s my exact old blog´s color!
ReplyDeleteAnd my friend P aways teases me when I say we had "Toast Hawaii" (I guess a German dish) the right way with a "long" w.
"The capital of Western Australia" :-) Well said!
But... "... the anti-Dubai" - we have no chance but coming via Dubai thanks to QANTAS not flying Germany/Europe anymore.
Aw, well. The last pic looks so yummy... I´m (really!) hungry now. Have a great Sunday. Grace :-)
You made me curious bout this place...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a neat place. I'll look for your next post. Weather's been funky here. Cool rainy and a bit dismal and then nice clear warm days and even hot for a day last week.
ReplyDeleteLove that little guy in the wall!! How fun!! It does look like a cool place to eat! Glad your weather is brighter than ours -- what shade of GRAY do you like best??? We have some of all of them! But have to admit that it's a little chilly, but not really cold so I should stop whining!! Hope your weekend is going well!!
ReplyDeleteA new place with some quirkiness and good food is a great thing for any city! Perth has lots of good stuff and lots of really hot people, I understand! :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog has made me hungry.
ReplyDeleteI'm hungry, too...but now I want to eat in Perth. That could be problematic.
ReplyDeleteGood write-up! Good food is critical and should guarantee success!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a grilled cheese to me, Grace, one of my favourites! It's up to -2˚C here - the warmest in a long time but we are heading way back down into the cold this week.
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely scrumptious Grace.
ReplyDeleteI love grilled cheese! And Grace, that is a lovely portrait as well.
ReplyDeleteGot it, I think.
ReplyDeleteAm developing a powerful hankering to visit Perth. But fear I might not want to leave her! ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout, my pacific mate
I like that little mouse.
ReplyDeleteGetting hungry now.
ReplyDeleteThey like their light colors but place them in quiet settings. Love the POV and light in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteYou sure do get around, Grace. This place looks like it will be a winner.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it's not "Le Croque Monsieur" ?! Although, that might be Remy in the hole in the wall.
ReplyDeleteIs it ever not hot in Perth? Can't imagine it:) The place looks like a nice hang out in he sun.
ReplyDeleteThe links are terrific. I don't have to be convinced that Perth is the place to be after looking at all your photos. Can't wait to see more about this restaurant/cafe. Looks good!
ReplyDelete... did I mention it's frikken FRIGID in Maine. hahahahahaha Enjoy the heat.
ReplyDeleteI read the article and I must say, that writer was singing Perth's praises loud and clear. He obviously loved every minute of his stay there. I even figured out what eating place this is. I checked their website and those grilled sandwiches sound heavenly. The name of the place is pretty clever too. I can't wait to hear your review!
ReplyDeleteToo funny ... I just read the article this Sunday morning and was going to write you about it! And you already have known about it before me! That's what I get for being in Maine this winter and getting my paper delivered late. Brought back warm memories of Perth. Which, any warm memories would be good right now with all this wicked coldness!
ReplyDeleteHot is beginning to sound good to me, Grace. It's rather chilly here north of Toronto...STILL!
ReplyDeleteMmmm for the bread! funny bunny in the wall! Arianna
ReplyDeleteFantastic! It looks very whimsical and the food looks so darn goode!
