After hearing that there would be a sandcastle building competition yesterday on City Beach and that this year joining the professionals from the likes of the Australian Inst.of Architects there would be a new category, the 'young builders league', 4 - 7 years.. who could resist. We searched up and down the beach but not an erection to be seen :) I'm sure most know that there is a lot of air activity going on off our coast this past week.. when I saw this shot in camera I thought it may be vapour trails, until I downloaded and realized it was my hair blowing in the wind :) May the mystery of the missing plane be solved soon for the sake of family and friends. Happy weekend, take care and stay safe...p.s. a celebrity crush tomorrow.. p.p.s no more rain :(

Yes, Perth has been in the news quite a bit these last few days. I agree, I hope something is found soon. Those families are suffering so much.
ReplyDeleteLove this gorgeous shot, hair and all.
Yes, Mon Ami. That is the sky the world is watching.....we've all been looking at that big empty map with only Perth and big ocean on it! Bonjour dear
ReplyDeleteAloha
Yes, I think the whole world is grateful for Australia's role right now in the search for MH370.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's a pretty scene even with the absence of an erection and wind blowing in the camera's face ...
ReplyDeleteAnd we all hope that the plane be found intact. Or at least we are able to determine just what happened to it so the families can have some closure.
You captured a great image anyway. Looking forward to tomorrow :)

A stunning vista regardless, Grace.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, the families need that closure. And officials in Malaysia and the airline need their butts kicked for sheer incompetence.
Amazing shot with your hair blowing in the wind...enjoy competition
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful photo, Grace!
ReplyDeleteYour hairs add something mysterious...
It is a great capture Grace. Hopefully there would be some news soon about that plane.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate an artist that throws oneself into their work.
ReplyDeleteAnd that beach looks fantastic !
Nice photo, looking like a nice fall day there!
ReplyDelete...Blowing in the Wind, it's just your hair blowing in the wind (Forgive me Bob Dylan)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful beach Grace. Nothing like were I live. Beaches here are narrow and over populated. Ocean is prettier too.
Love to see the sandcastles.

I can't possibly say what I would like to say about your er,... 'building' word! :-) I'm very much enjoying the breeze in your hair, who wouldn't with a sight like this!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the missing sandcastle competition? Add it to the missing plane mystery.
ReplyDeleteThe big mystery needs to be solved and let's hope it's soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the shot with your hair, that's funny!
You could have built your own sandcastle Grace and started the ball rolling ….

Got a chuckle out of the vapor trails! So sad about the plane. Can't imagines hat the families are going through.
ReplyDeleteLove your hair in the pic! Where are those sandcastles??
ReplyDeleteI hope Flight 370 is found soon. I see Perth on our evening news every day now...it seems our media has congregated there.
ReplyDeleteHope to see photos of those sandcastles.
I'd go to that event, but how could it disappear?
ReplyDeleteThere have been a lot of maps online and in the press that include Perth lately. You really are out there all by yourself.
I see Perth on the maps that are shown all day long as the search goes on. After Perth, there is nothing for a loooonnnnggg ways. What a place for a plane to go down!
ReplyDeleteI take it there was a nice breeze that was blowing your hair.
ReplyDeleteWhat a paradise! Arianna
ReplyDeleteHa,ha, had to smile about your hair, gives a nice twist to the photo.
ReplyDeleteYes, PeRRRth, as most pronounce it here, is in our news, too.
ReplyDeleteSeesh. What a horrible thought, I sure do not forward taking a plane again...
