I took the above shot yesterday as I exited Central Park, a photographers dream, onto St. Georges Terrace. Looking up I noticed the multi faceted reflection that encompasses both old and new, everything that draws me like a magnet to the terrace each time I come into the city.. I was très happy to see that I'd managed to include one of the flags announcing the French Film Festival :). Below the entrance into Central Park from Hay St., this park area is popular with city workers who enjoy sitting in the shade of the trees.. see what I mean about glass and mirrors! What are you up to this weekend? More gardening pour moi.. this time in Aimee's jardin.. should have seen that coming :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe.. More Weekend Reflections here...

Is that a magpie in front of the fountain? Not a bird we see here the "other" hemisphere. :-)
ReplyDeleteFantastinen heijastus. Kiva rakennus, joka peilaa tuolla tavalla. Valokuvaajan unelma :)
ReplyDeleteIt still looks like summer there, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI do love your sunny, happy photos for the day, Grace!! Looks like a great day! Just the kind of place I like to spend time!! Hope you have a good weekend -- don't work too hard in Aimee's jardin!! Ah, yes, we should see these things coming, shouldn't we!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous 1st shot! My eyes and mind get lost!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what french movies you'll see!
Have a nice week-end !
Estupendas las fotos. Como siempre un placer.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
The chaos of that reflection is quite delightful, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI can see the appeal of that park.
I love the fountain!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic jumble!
ReplyDeleteWow you got a good reflection photo for sure.
ReplyDeleteThose reflections make for a wonderful collage !
ReplyDeleteGreat top shot of the theme - but I also like the little bird behind the fountain (in our foreground) a pic that speaks.

Wonderful sunny shots Grace, thank you! Joy x
ReplyDeleteVery nice reflections, Grace, in that first photo. But the two images afterward were the ones that grabbed me. Perth looks like such a lovely and comfortable place to live and work!
ReplyDeleteFascinating. It looks like you stuck your camera lens into a kaleidoscope.
ReplyDeleteWeekend? One of our firm's slogans is "Thank God it's Friday. Only two more work days till Monday." (The other is "When all else fails, look up the law.") But the weekends are shooting time.
Cool reflections.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating collage of reflections, like a mosaic of glass and color. My favorite photo is the second with the cool shade trees and lovely fountain.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
Wow. Such a kaleidoscope of glass, metal, greenery and people Grace. That top photo has so many layers. So much to see. Gardening done. Photo expedition tomorrow. Cheers J.

It looks very inviting to lay down on the green grass....
ReplyDeleteA super dooper reflection.
ReplyDeleteThese are all inviting images. I especially like the 'colliding' buildings.
