I couldn't have been happier yesterday when the clouds parted just long enough for me to take a few shots of the beautiful new mural here in Carlisle. The gorgeous vision painted recently by Perth artiste extraordinaire Graeme Miles Richards deserved to be shown under the blue skies depicted in the Greek inspired mural. On the wall of Cafe Bella Rosa, the original wall looked like THIS.. 110% improvement wouldn't you say :) Hope you had/are still having a wonderful weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

ReplyDeleteHello Grace,
ReplyDeleteNice pictures you have made of the beautiful painting on the facade of this restaurant. Looks cheerful.
Funny to see on the last picture my same car (Nissan Qashqai) is in front of the door...hihi...!!
Many greetings,
Marco

It's a terrific depiction of the magical Mykonos. Having visited there, it is quite mind blowing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Grace!
ReplyDeleteDelightful to bask in your weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, Grace! That also looks like Santorini where we visited in 1996 or such.
ReplyDeleteThe sea was very wild, the boat rocked like crazy and people puked. I mean like really. I needed to "pee" but everything was full of puke.
One woman sat in a chair and puked into her hands.
This mural sure made me laugh - I didn´t back then - I had big trouble to hold it! Both...
Amazingly the boat was clean when we came back - it was a day trip only.
Makes me feel I want to go there....
ReplyDeleteVery nice mural.

ReplyDeleteThe blue skies do justice to that mural!
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteKnowing that there is quite a Greek influx in Australia, this is a great addition.

Beautiful mural Grace. With an Italian name, he should have painted an Italian scenery, lol. Thanks for contributing to Monday murals.
ReplyDeleteAre You Kidding Me - Amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers
That is a gorgeous mural and a huge improvement on that wall. I'd love to standing there looking at the real thing but this mural will do.
ReplyDeleteAustralia seems to have embraced murals in a way that we never have here in Canada, and I applaud you for it. It really does add greatly to an urban landscape.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Mural it is Grace. I think I’ve always been a fan this illustrative style of art.
