Yesterday while walking around Lake Claremont, a conservation category wetland and 'bush forever site' we came across the superb work of Perth artist/muralist Brenton See. The artist states 'the excitement of sharing the flora and fauna of Western Australia keeps him motivated in his journey to educate the world on just how lucky we are to share our planet with such wonders'. I feel we are the lucky ones whenever we come across his work, here in the perfect bushland setting where I am sure all of the creatures depicted can be found. Happy Monday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. So THIS (check it out) is what we are in for today, I'm a little nervous and wish I did have some sandbags, fingers crossed my roof stays on!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful mural. I can't help wondering if painting on that corrugated metal makes the job even harder. Be careful during that storm!
ReplyDeleteStay safe. Great mural.
ReplyDeleteNice murals, Grace. Stay safe with all the rain and winds heading your way.
ReplyDeleteAwesome murals, a very talented artiest. I see it is wet there, fear not it raining here as well. Take a look at my blog this week https://thechurchexporer.blogspot.com/2021/07/dorchester-abbey-pt-2.html

ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,

Hugs,

Good luck with that weather Grace. We just had the remnants of a hurricane pass over here. Not so bad this time.

How fine to come across such great murals. This artist certainly has captured the look and feel of these animals.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful find Grace, such a great artist.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in Monday Murals Grace.
I was in Subiaco on Sunday and lots of store keepers were putting sandbags in front of their doors. Luckily the storm was probably not as bad as first predicted.
Great murals, Grace.
ReplyDeleteDid you make it OK? Guess so!
I remember that DUMB, ARRogant (don´t wanna scream at you , but.....!!!)
He was so "worried" when we were visiting you.
In German news were fires is SA. Southern Australia, just around the corner of Perth, right.
We called him "wiki" (knows half of everything) or we called him assho#e for a reason.)
Summer came back a bit, 24C!!!
That is beautiful, you are so lucky to have so many great artists nearby. Sorry I am not keeping up with blogs very well. Despite the summer days being longer I am sure my days are getting shorter. Never enough hours in the days for me it seems. Take care, Diane
ReplyDeleteA wonderful mural, Grace! I hope you survived the storm intact!
