"If you can't be in awe of Mother Nature there's something wrong with you " .. Alex Trebek
Sitting close to the waves, not in the waves :) The wind howled, the waves crashed and beaucoup de pluie fell from the skies. Where I live we have been lucky so far, some areas not so lucky, many homes without power or roofs. The wind is still howling outside my window, we have tonight and tomorrow to get through, storms can change direction on a whim. Where else would I be in weather like this than at the beach. Yesterday sitting indoors watching Mother Nature unleashing her frustrations into the Indian Ocean, it was a lot fiercer than it looks. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..
I am usually on my bike in the middle of nowhere when there's a storm coming. Indoor at the beach sounds much better!
ReplyDeleteThe ocean looks a bit rough!
ReplyDeleteThere's always something exhilarating about a storm - as long as your roof stays in situ. Take care.
ReplyDelete...indoor weather, but no snow!
ReplyDeleteYou were brave to go out into it at all, Grace. But as Tom said - at least it isn't snow!
ReplyDeleteThose waves look big. So glad I am not out in a boat in this weather. Hope your bad weather passes quickly.
ReplyDeleteThat is Indian Ocean fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it'd be fun to be in those waves. Your water is much cleaner looking than what we had in Florida.
ReplyDeleteA nice view, looks like your locked in
ReplyDeleteGee, it does look really wild.
ReplyDeleteI would guess most people are hunker down.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Mesmerizing
ReplyDeleteI agree Grace. It’s invigorating to be by the sea in a storm.
ReplyDeleteOh dear that sounds not so good, stay in and keep dry!
ReplyDeleteMust be a special feeling. Looking at fierce nature from a safe inside. The art is to keep it safe.
ReplyDeleteI hope the storm is over by now and you cam through unscathed, Grace.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is no better here. We are in the middle of summer and it is cold and very wet!!! I am in my winter track suit, ridiculous. Keep warm, Diane
ReplyDeletePowerful waves. The sort of weather to be cautious in.
ReplyDeleteThanks for braving the weather to get us some churning ocean photos. I'm glad to hear that you are surviving the storm.
ReplyDeleteNature unleashed is a powerful force indeed, and should never be underestimated. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteWow mighty waves indeed! Hopefully all goes well stay safe.
ReplyDeleteIt's been much the same here too, the wind chill during the day has been enough to put warm clothes on.
ReplyDeletei alwas like to watch waves, from a safe place of course:)! ew
ReplyDeleteI can´t put it differently... but... I love seeing this, especially, of course, knowing nothing bad happened to your home (brolly still in place?)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.... the ocean. Ingo has three weeks off. But going anywhere? Forget about that. Corinna has us under control still.
