Hyde Park is one of the prettiest parks to stroll around in any season but the plane trees that line the lake look amazing in their stark nakedness during winter. I wanted to use either the first or second image here as my new winter header shot and after much frustration and even more cursing like a sailor I got the shot into position in layout but the quality wasn't good, it was blurry and unacceptable to me to use as the first image people see when they click on blog. Anyone else having this problem. I really like having a seasonal header shot and hope I can sort this issue.. tips anyone? Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
Mind blowing post
ReplyDeletePretty locale.
ReplyDeleteI always use a shot from the previous year as a header. I can't imagine why you'd be having that issue.
Outstanding There Perth - Sometimes My Mac And Blogger Agree, Sometimes Not - No Rhyme Or Reason Just Yet - Stay Strong
ReplyDeleteCheers
Your Winter looks very inviting.
ReplyDeleteGreat winter shots, Grace. I love all the reflections.
ReplyDelete...your winter certainly isn't like mine!
ReplyDeleteWinter in Perth looks very appealing.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why you are having the header problem, having said that I have not changed mine on the bird blog for ages and I have never put a header photo on my photo diary. Beautiful set of photos though, winter looks good over there.
ReplyDeleteHope the lockdown does not spread in your direction, Sydney does not sound so good at present! Take care Diane
Your 2nd shot is fabulous! Winter looks rather nice down there!
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of trees, even though we don't know what we're looking at...
Hugs,
Mariette
Love Hyde Park in winter.
ReplyDeleteI read another blogger had the same trouble with the header photo. Sadly, I don’t know how she resolved it.
You do share quality! I have noticed that if I'm having a difficulty with blogger, if I try again later or the next day I'm not having that difficulty. Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing dear
ReplyDeleteNaked trees in sunlight are so photogenic. I had that same problem with my header photo but I didn't do anything about it. I couldn't work out why at the time.
ReplyDeleteFrom your photos I can see it was a lovely day at the Park. Great reflections.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic photos of the trees but I can't help with the header photo. Since I don't use one, I don't know the process. Hopefully, you will get some help from other readers.
ReplyDeleteOn another subject, I just heard on the news that Perth (and other parts of Australia) have gone into lock-down again. Stay safe!
Your winter looks more like our fall.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Beautiful! All the trees are starting to rest.
ReplyDeleteGrace!!! LOL! When in Freo there was a "helpful" lady, wearing a sign she helps and after you told me about the "Grumpy Sailor" I asked her where that is.
ReplyDeleteShe looked at me with big eyes, "you look for a drunken sailor?! We don´t have that here!" How? Drunken???? Glad to know, though, I won´t run into one!
Sadly I think I´ll keep the Little Giant Girl ... so, no tips, but yikes, blogger drives me nuts each and every time, too!
Why did they change it?!
Hm. No winter-person. So sad the days are getting shorter...
These trees are beautiful and majestic Grace. Great photos. I can't help with the header either, as my header is also blurry even though the photo was great. I keep on having trouble with the font size, every time I save a post, whenever I get back to it, there's different font sizes in each paragraph...
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful clicks :)
ReplyDeleteHuge trees overthere! Hyde Park sounds very British...
ReplyDeleteThe park looks delightful, and as a birder this would be the perfect time of year to visit. The temperature is agreeable, but apart from that the lack of foliage makes seeing the birds so much easier.
ReplyDeleteGreat new header. Reflections and trees in the park are extraordinary beautiful. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI like the broad-branched tree in the last picture. its shade must be very pleasant in summer
