Do you ever find yourself sitting in a beautiful old heritage building, big windows out to the street, gorgeous high ceilings etc and wonder, as you are waiting for coffee.. and quite often a cake, what this building was originally used for. I posed this query to P who pointing to the menu said 'that could be a clue' :) I couldn't find out for sure, medicine may or may not have been dispensed from HERE sometime in the past but the coffee I had in the present certainly made me feel better. One minute after I took this shadow shot the table in front was occupied! Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
Nothing better than good coffee.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a good spot for a break.
ReplyDelete...it's after lunch time here, I'm going to dispense something to eat!

Repurposed old buildings have a certain awe about them. If only buildings could talk.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to sit for a while....and eat cake. I'll skip the coffee. :-)
ReplyDeleteA good coffee in a pleasant building with a nice view, perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a wonderful spot, Grace!
ReplyDeleteLove the name and look of that spot.
ReplyDeleteI like how the building has been reused in a nice way.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Here a dispensary means medical cannabis.
ReplyDeleteFine light and shadows in your photo.
ReplyDeleteI've heard they slip a little opium into your coffee. That's why you feel so good after coffee there.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteLove the word Dispensary instead of what they use here: 'Drugstore' or Pharmacy. In Dutch it is Apotheek.
Looks like a very nice coffee or tea shop!
Hugs,
Mariette
Nice place to enjoy the curative powers of coffee. In my local town of Royston you can buy beer at the Old Post Office, which is now a pub.
ReplyDeleteA dispensery is place that can sell marijunans legelly. In United States
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
I know, it´s not the point, Grace, but what sticks out to me... gaaaahhhh...people wear long clothes.
ReplyDelete09:09, first training finished (you´re a welcome break) - 16C already - T-shirt!
The shots look great and my, if Ingo clicks that link you shared a strawberry cake it would be here ;-)
Looks like a cosy place, and maybe P is right and the name is a clue to the building's former use.
ReplyDeleteNice to get coffee somewhere inside. Here we still have to wait until Saturday then we are allowed to go inside a cafe again.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Grace with those shadows!
ReplyDeleteGostei das fotos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom Feriado.
