Last weekend Aimee and I went to the 3 in One Market at Claremont Showground. The couple in the quick click here were the epitome of what the market is about.. vintage, home made and antiques, definitely the vintage, she looked gorgeous. I said a little thank you prayer that the white Doc Martens below were too big for Aimee otherwise they would have come home with her :) I can't even imagine how uncomfortable the shoes on the left must have been to wear! I came home with a beautiful hand made pen, by the same pen makers who made THIS, I'm going to enjoy using it very much. Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
The Doc Martens boots look very nice.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had fun.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place. You should have purchased the shoes, Grace. They look like they could be quite a weapon with that sharp point.
ReplyDelete...January 17, 2017 I went an Elvis Presley Birthday Bash. Lots of those there looked like they stepped out of Grease!
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteNever have liked any spike heels... Too dangerous too.
Hugs,
Mariette
The Doc Martens boots look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea for a market. Love the boots. I would have never worn those shoes.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. That lady looks fab.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you didn't just time travel back to the 1930s? That guy is wearing peddle-pusher pants, saddle shoes, and a straw boater hat, high style in the 1930s. Perhaps you just photographed the Great Gatsby?
ReplyDeleteThat woman is beautiful! I can only imagine how fun/interesting this market was.
ReplyDeleteHer look is terrific, only marred by the green shopping jeep. I've never seen white Docs before.
ReplyDeleteThe woman looks great. She reminds me of Angel on "Escape To The Chateau" which I hope you get. It follows a British couple who buy a chateau in France and fix it up as a place to live and have a wedding venue business.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh, #3 is especially dangerous for me! If I would go somewhere I could wear the summer-Gurri Ingo bought me - red with white polka-dots!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, shoes to the left my Mum had. For carnival I dressed up and borrowed them. I "walked" like a drunken sailor for two steps and gave them back. 🤣
Beautiful pen. I always write with the Mont Blanc my Mum gave me.
My post today is from Ingo for you.
As someone who never gets beyond wearing what is comfortable (apart from half-hearted attempts for job-interviews, weddings and such) I admire those who can go to so much trouble to look good.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your photo and would adore going there with you! I am also a thrift shop junkie....not necessarily vintage, but like that, too.
ReplyDeleteThat all looks very nice and that lady reminds me of Angel Adoree ,the wife of Dick Strawbridge, from the serie escape to the chateau. Easy to find on youtube.
ReplyDeleteMy kind of place!
ReplyDeleteThat lady looks very stylish. I remember when Karina used to love her Doc Martens when she was still in High school :)
ReplyDeleteThat couple look like they just stepped out of a movie scene! That must have been a great place to explore.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteSometimes fate favors the caring mother 😉
ReplyDeleteLooks great
ReplyDeleteoh I love how that lady is dressed.
