Happy to say that I saw many, many coats being worn in the city yesterday but not a one made of fur :) It was also a pleasant surprise to see that although black coats were still in the majority there was a substantial smattering of lighter coloured coats and jackets.. I must get one, I have only one coat and it is black :) Some of the shots are clearer than others, some were walking faster, look at the killer heels the lady is wearing 2nd to the left bottom row, yikes! It's not often you see people rugged up here is it. Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
Great collage photo, Grace. Sorry but I had to laugh seeing all these people dressed for winter.ReplyDelete
I don't any place that sells fur coats anymore. I recall a few bigger department store handle them, back in the day.ReplyDelete
Coffee is on and stay safe
...I remember when there a=was a large mink farm here and trapping was a profitable hobby. Those days sure are gone!ReplyDelete
I agree I am glad that fur coats are now a no no. I have a mink stole that was given to me for my 21st. A very long time ago. I still have it though I would never wear it but it is a memory that I do not want to burn! Cheers DianeReplyDelete
It is good to see no fur coats. I have a lovely pink winter coat.ReplyDelete
It's refreshing to see people dressed for cold weather. Very hot here!ReplyDelete
Love those killer heels! I think I have 5 black coats but also one white one!ReplyDelete
You are so right. I don't see many photos of people from your part of the world (or mine for that matter) wearing coats. I've just been thinking that I need a new coat to take to NY when I go in October. Last time I was there in October, the coat I brought was a bit too thin.ReplyDelete
I smiled seeing the coats in winter. Could be spring really.ReplyDelete
Color will burst out! My prediction 🌴ReplyDelete
I love the collage…and I agree, any fur belongs on the animal…not a fashion statement!!ReplyDelete
There's a couple of fur shops here, but I can't recall the last time I saw anyone wearing fur.ReplyDelete
Oh, Grace! LOL. I googled "mink coat" just to find the answer when I read on in your post! Mimimi.ReplyDelete
Get a Gurri, Grace. You will make people smile or shout at you you bring them luck (at least if you visit us!).
Killer heels. How can that lady not be afraid they break?! (a staff member of my parents experienced exactly that in the 70´s).
I tried once. Nope. Can´t.
Only 16C. I think I get my winter-Gurri out again....
Love your collage and glad no fur is used.
Nice observation of people in the street Grace. Those killer heels I have never been able to walk on properly in the streets :)ReplyDelete
I agree with Bieb. On the way to be a second Satorialist.ReplyDelete
Nice collage Grace. I have a lavender, a mustard and a red winter coats but only wear them if we go out at night. Typical of our winter we see those that wear winter clothes and those that are still wearing torn jeans, flip-flops, even T-shirt shirts like I saw yesterday, lol.ReplyDelete
I 100% agree with you, I refuse to wear fur now.ReplyDelete
